These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at imperfection.design (the “Site”), operated by Imperfection Design Architectural, a trade name of Design Ventures LLC, registered in New Jersey (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We are an interior design firm specializing in conceptual interior design services, marketing presentations, and related consultations in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Please note that we are not licensed architects, engineers, or holders of any professional architectural or engineering licenses under New York State law or any other jurisdiction. Our services are limited to aesthetic and conceptual interior design elements and do not include architectural, structural, or engineering services, which require licensed professionals. Any use of terms like “architect” or “architectural” in our branding or marketing is for illustrative purposes only and does not imply licensure or the provision of regulated architectural services. We strongly recommend consulting licensed architects or engineers for any structural, building code, or technical aspects of your project.
In accordance with New York State regulations (e.g., Education Law § 7302), we do not practice architecture or use the title “architect” in a professional capacity. All project examples, including displayed costs, images, renderings, videos, panoramic tours, and technical references, are for conceptual marketing and presentation purposes only. They do not represent actual project expenses, guarantees of pricing, or real-world implementations. Costs shown are illustrative estimates based on hypothetical scenarios and may vary significantly based on factors such as location, materials, and scope. Media content, including images, videos, renderings, and tours, is created by third-party subcontractor visualization companies and is not produced on our company’s systems. Technical designs or projects referenced are developed by independent freelance professionals and are provided as examples only.
Certain services not directly related to interior design (e.g., technical engineering or specialized subcontracted tasks) are performed by third-party companies in the U.S. or internationally, under separate agreements. We act solely as a facilitator for such services and bear no responsibility for their execution or outcomes.
Our firm promotes services with a presence in New York but is legally structured as Design Ventures LLC in New Jersey. All agreements are governed by New Jersey law, unless otherwise specified.
These Terms comply with applicable U.S. laws, including New York State requirements for interior designers (where certification is optional and not required for practice) and disclaimers for professional services. 1. Introduction
These Terms apply to the Site and any transactions related to our interior design concepts and services. Additional contracts (e.g., for specific projects) may supplement these Terms and will prevail in case of conflict.
